Estimates & Timing

For an a detailed estimate, please email dimensions (height, depth and width), how many removable cushions as well as any unique details of each of your project to liz@sewnsonoma.com.

Yardage quotes for slipcovers, pillows and cushions are offered based on dimensions provided and include self welt unless otherwise specified. We believe in minimal waste and do our best not include more yardage than necessary to complete a project. If excess material results, it is returned to client upon project completion.

Projects take up to 8 weeks to complete.

Site Visits

We offer site visits to confirm dimensions and for installation.

Fabric

We have fabric books and samples to choose and purchase from. Books are available to browse in shop or on site. 

We are happy to work with COM (customers own material). 

If intending to launder your covers in the future, we recommend pre-washing prior to construction. We are happy to offer cut increments for home washing machines or for laundering services. Please re-roll or fold fabric to eliminate creasing.

Slipcovers

We construct custom slipcovers that make your furniture look upholstered. Our process involves patterning each piece onsite eliminating the need to relocate your furniture and ensuring a tailored fit.

Muslin used to make your pattern is recycled for patterning smaller pieces. If you would like to keep your pattern for future use, an additional fee will be applied to your total.

A variety of techniques are used to allow for easy removal and replacement facilitating laundering and care. The best choice will be determined at the time of pattern construction.

Inserts

We offer pillow and cushion inserts in poly-fill, down or foam. Prices are additional to cut and sew. Alternate materials, such as latex, wool and cotton, are available.

Delivery

We deliver or ship finished goods if you are unable to visit our location.

Miscellaneous

We have no minimum and are happy to make one piece or multiples.

Please note, we only offer alteration or repair on pieces we have constructed.
